Netanyahu says ceasefire will end Saturday unless hostages delivered !!!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the current ceasefire in Gaza will end if Hamas does not release hostages by noon on Saturday.

He emphasized that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will resume intense military operations until Hamas is fully defeated if the hostages are not returned.

This ultimatum follows accusations from Hamas that Israel violated the ceasefire terms, leading to delays in the planned release of hostages. In response, Netanyahu has ordered the mobilization of Israeli forces in and around Gaza, preparing for a potential escalation.

Since the ceasefire began on January 19, 2025, Hamas has released 21 hostages, with Israel reciprocating by freeing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. The initial phase of the ceasefire aimed to exchange 33 hostages for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. However, tensions have risen as the deadline approaches, with both sides accusing each other of violating the agreement.

U.S. President Donald Trump has supported Israel's demand for the release of all remaining hostages and has proposed a plan to redevelop Gaza, suggesting the relocation of Palestinian residents to neighboring countries. This proposal has faced significant opposition from Arab nations and has raised concerns about potential regional instability.

The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, urging both parties to adhere to the ceasefire and avoid further escalation. The coming days are critical as the deadline approaches, with the potential for renewed conflict if an agreement is not reached.
